Tested parameters
HbA1c
HbA1c measures your average blood sugar levels over the past two to three months. High HbA1c levels may indicate a higher risk of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Triglycerides
Triglycerides are a type of fat found in the blood. High levels can increase the risk of heart disease and other health problems. Measuring triglycerides can help assess your risk of cardiovascular disease and the need for dietary and lifestyle changes.
Total Cholesterol
Total cholesterol includes all the lipoproteins in your blood. High total cholesterol levels may indicate an increased risk of heart disease. This test provides an overview of the total amount of cholesterol in your blood.
HDL (High Density Lipoprotein)
Known as “good” cholesterol, HDL helps remove “bad” cholesterol from your arteries. Adequate levels of HDL are important for cardiovascular health because they help reduce the risk of heart disease.
LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein)
Known as "bad" cholesterol, LDL can build up in artery walls, increasing the risk of atherosclerosis and heart disease.
CRP (C-Reactive Protein)
CRP is an inflammatory marker that can indicate the presence of inflammation in the body, including inflammation in the arteries, which increases the risk of heart disease. Measuring CRP helps identify tissue inflammation.
Lp(a) (Lipoprotein(a))
Lp(a) is a lipoprotein that may increase the risk of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. Elevated Lp(a) levels are an independent risk factor for heart disease, making its measurement an important test for assessing cardiovascular risk.
Apoβ (Apolipoprotein B)
Apoβ is the main protein found in LDL. High levels of Apoβ are associated with an increased risk of heart disease. This test helps assess cardiovascular risk by measuring Apoβ levels.
